Hello! My name is Michelle Apgar.  Thanks for visiting my website.  This year begins my 20th year to teach. I taught Kindergarten for 16 years in Plano, Texas. My family moved to Allen, Texas in 2005.  I taught 3rd grade here at Boyd for the past three years. This year, I am so grateful for the opportunity to go back to my first teaching love...Kindergarten!  I have a B.S. in Education from Lamar University- Beaumont, Texas.  I am also certified in  Early Childhood, Gifted and Talented and English as a Second Language.

My husband, Dan, and I have a awesome 13-year old daughter, Gabby and two Border Collies, Murphy and Mollie.  I enjoy spending time with family, reading, cooking, digital scrapbooking, and visiting anywhere that has animals; such as Fossil Rim Wildlife Center, the Fort Worth or Dallas Zoo and The Dallas World Aquarium!
