FIELD DAY - SACK LUNCH ORDER

Field day is scheduled for Friday, May 26th. We are asking students to bring a sack lunch on that day. If you would like your child to order a sack lunch from the cafeteria, please complete the form below and return it to your child's teacher before Tuesday, May 23rd. Only pre-ordered lunches will be provided as the cafeteria will be closed on field day.
  

TIME TO ORDER NEXT YEAR SCHOOL SUPPLIES - by June 1st

All grade sites are up and running. Please go online and order your student's next year school supplies. (www.shopttkits.com), school account 93197. Supplies must be ordered by the last day of school, Thursday, June 1st.

LOST AND FOUND 

There are so many coats, jackets, sweaters, etc. in lost and found. Remember - all things not claimed by the last day of school will be donated to ACO!
 

IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING NEXT YEAR’S MIDDLE SCHOOL CLASSES!!

Current 6th and 7th grade students may access their 2017-2018 “course selections” through Family Access May 17, 2017 through May 23, 2017. This will provide students with a look at courses they selected as well as courses they qualified for through Advanced Academics. This is not their final schedule, only a listing of course selections. Students who did not meet placement criteria for 7th grade Advanced Math will automatically be re-evaluated by the Advanced Academics office. NO APPEALS need to be filed.
 
Requests to move from a Pre-AP course to an on-level course must be submitted in writing to the Ereckson MS campus counselor (Renae Perez – 7th grade, Kim Petty – 8th grade). All requests for changes must be submitted to Ereckson Middle School no later than May 26, 2017. Contact Mrs. Gilbert at Norton to get a request form to submit.

NORTON WORLD CULTURES DAY'S PARADE OF NATIONS - MAY 19, 2017 

Who: Any Norton student and their family who would like to dress up to represent their native country or culture. Students and families should carry a sign with their county’s name on it. They should also carry a flag. (these can be combined)
 
When: Friday, May 19, 2017 at 7:55 am
 
Where: Pre-parade line up in Norton Gym beginning at 7:30 am. Parade will beginpromptly at 7:55 am to march in Norton hallways and showcase all the wonderful cultures represented at Norton Elementary! (parade lasts approximately 15 min.)

ERECKSON HUSKIES FOOTBALL MEETING

Incoming 7thGrade Football Families -Meet Coach Brian Flowers and get information about the 7th grade 2017 Huskies football season

ATTENTION WATCHDOGS

Norton's Field Day is Friday, May 26th and we need volunteers. In the past, WatchDOGS have provided great support for this event ... I'm hoping we can do the same this year. 2017 JUNIOR POLICE ACADEMY

Students can experience law enforcement first-hand in the annual Junior Police Academy summer camp. Students learn the basic functions of a police department and participate in practical exercises. . The program is designed to introduce students to their local law enforcement personnel and provide a basic understanding of police work. There will be 6 one week sessions that run Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Classes are held at Ford Middle School, located at 630 Park Place Dr, Allen, TX 75002.
