Bullock Named Deputy Superintendent

Robin Bullock was named as Allen ISD deputy superintendent at the January 9 Board of Trustees meeting.

Bullock has been serving as assistant superintendent for school leadership and support services in Allen since 2013.  She previously served as interim superintendent and deputy superintendent in Midlothian ISD.  She also held administrative positions in Midlothian including assistant superintendent, director of personnel, middle and elementary school principal. 

She began her teaching career in 7th grade language arts/reading with Red Oak ISD in 1995.

Bullock is a graduate of Northwestern State University in Louisiana, and Troy State University in Alabama.  She earned principal and superintendent certification from the University of Texas-Arlington.

In recommending her for the post, Superintendent Dr. Scott Niven highlighted her past administrative experience and her leadership here in Allen in dealing with a variety of projects and challenges.  “She is well respected among the staff and her knowledge of the school district and community will be a great asset.”
