Preston Elementary School

Welcome to the Preston Elementary Library!  I'm excited to see you all.  This will be my eighteenth year in Allen ISD (twenty-third year of teaching), and my seventh year as the librarian for Preston Elementary. 

I received my Bachelor's degree in Education from Texas A&M University in College Station, and my Master's degree in Library Science from Texas Woman's University.  

I live in Allen with my husband, Jimmy. We have three kids (Haley, Hannah, and Jack), one son-in-law (Kyle), one granddaughter (Annie), one dog (Cassie), and a cat (Charlie)!

My favorite thing to do is read.  I love books of all kinds.  I think one of the most important things to do at school is to HAVE FUN while learning!
