Chandler Family,

Hello!

My name is Chelsea Abboud, and I am the Principal at Chandler Elementary.  I am so excited to welcome back our current Cheetahs and look forward to meeting our new Cheetahs and their families. I believe that strong partnerships between school and home are critical components in the overall success of students.  

This fall I will begin my 25th year in education. Over the course of my educational career, I have taught both 3rd and 5th grades. I began my journey here in Allen ISD in the fall of 2012 teaching 3rd grade.

 I was born and raised in Lancaster, Texas where I married my high school sweetheart, Jamal. We have been happily married for almost 23 years. We have lived in Allen for over 20 years and have two amazing children. Our daughter Audrea is a Senior at Allen High School. Our son Alden is in 7th grade here at Ford Middle School. We are a huge soccer family, so most evenings and weekends you will find us on the soccer fields.

I'm very excited about the upcoming 2023-2024 school year! It is going to be a fantastic year of excitement and learning!
