Thespian Conference

Thirty students from Allen High School’s International Thespian Society Troupe recently represented the district at the Texas Thespian Festival, held November 21-23. These talented students showcased their skills through workshops, competitions, performances, college auditions, and scholarship interviews.

Allen High School students competed in categories such as Monologues, Solo Musical, Props Design, Team Costume Design, Tech Team Challenge, and Musical Writing.

The festival featured more than 1,000 entries in the performance categories, with only 123 participants earning a perfect score. Of these, just six were selected to perform during the closing ceremonies. An Allen High School student was among the six honorees for the second consecutive year. Jocelyn Johnston delivered a standout performance to an audience of over 4,000 theater students.
