Thirty-three Allen ISD Middle School Students won positions during auditions with the Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA) Region 25 contest in November. The students are:
Curtis Middle School – Arnav Harish Rajan, Janice Huang, Rebekah Jones, Aidan Key,
Anirudh Machavarapu, Isaac Miller, Ryan O'Connor, Anderson Pham,
Michael Pierce, Allison Shattuck, and Finn Thompson.
Ereckson Middle School – Isabella Aguilar Gutierrez, Anhad Bal, Praharsh Bodawala,
Nate Grzeda, Ellie Jo, Eunyu Jo, Ella Joseph, Carson Kelly, Hyungju Kim,
Kevin Kim, Adarsh Kodimela, Derek Lin, Charlie Setvanich, Roi Song,
Afton Stewart, Jyo Vasanth, Gavin Ventura, Elizabeth Weaver, Jonathan Weaver, Amelia Wiley, and Ethan Ye.
Ford Middle School – Caleb Kramme
Allen Students competed against musicians from Denison, Lovejoy, Melissa, Plano, Princeton, Sherman, and Wylie ISDs. The students played a series of prepared etudes before a panel of judges through two rounds of auditions. More than 1,340 students began the audition process competing for 258 spots.
