Elizabeth Williams, EL Facilitator, and Lisa Crabtree, SSI Teacher, have been celebrated for their extraordinary collaboration and commitment to academic achievement at Chandler Elementary. By leveraging data-driven practices, they identified student needs and created targeted intervention plans and small groups addressing gaps in academic achievement and language development.

Their work has empowered both students and staff by introducing innovative instructional methods, aligning perfectly with the district’s Empowered Learning goal. Their efforts have profoundly impacted the Chandler Elementary community, exemplifying the power of teamwork and dedication.

Allen ISD Middle School Counselors, including Paige Centeno, Karen McWilliams, Samantha Fields, Trebreh Benjamin, Loren Clanton, Crystal Wright, Debra Fulton, and Ghia Black, have been honored for developing a robust Personal Graduation Plan (PGP) Guidance curriculum. Their efforts culminated in an exceptional PGP Parent Night, where families were provided with tools and skills to support student success.

The event featured an engaging presentation, a timeline to Lowery Freshman Center, and interactive learning opportunities for families. The counselors’ dedication to collaboration and family engagement has strengthened the foundation for academic and personal success, reflecting the district’s vision for Empowered Learning.

The Structured Learning Team at Curtis Middle School, DeKeisha Smith, Jennifer Monroe, and Zion Abay, have been recognized for their personalized approach to education. Their dedication to Allen ISD’s SOAR 2030 goals has created a nurturing and empowering learning environment.

The team has organized unique experiences, such as field trips to sporting events, inviting the Allen Fire Department for campus demonstrations, and collaborating with Puzzles of Color to turn student artwork into official puzzles. These initiatives have fostered creativity, confidence, and growth among students, showcasing the team’s innovative and student-centered approach.

Through their efforts, Elizabeth Williams, Lisa Crabtree, the Middle School Counselors, and the Curtis Middle School Structured Learning Team have made a significant impact on the Allen ISD community.
