Welcome to the AHS Tutoring Center!

Location: Intervention Hub (B209)

The Tutoring Center supports students during their Privilege Period in Math & Science. The Tutoring Center was implemented in 2019 as a way to provide core content academic support throughout the school day. Students can meet with Math & Science teachers or Eagle Tutors (student tutors) to assist with homework questions, prepare for upcoming assessments, or general questions.    

Tutoring is available in the last 45 minutes of 2nd, 4th, 5th, and 7th periods, A-days for 1st period, and B-days for 8th period.

• Students coming from Privilege Period to the Tutoring Center will need a pass through Minga, which can be requested from a teacher.

• Students who are in Academic Monitoring may also meet with our Tutoring Center teachers or Eagle Tutors during their AM period.

• Students will check in at the Minga kiosk when arriving to the Tutoring Center.

In addition to the tutoring center during the school day, AHS teachers offer tutoring before and after school each week.
