The Ford Middle School orchestra recently hosted a special holiday concert and breakfast for Ford teachers and staff. What a lovely opportunity to hear holiday tunes and grab a bite to eat before class. Way to go, Ford Mustangs!
Silver Eagles and district employees enjoyed basketball action with special Eagles Nest seats and dinner provided by Allen ISD's Heart@Work initiative at the Allen High School Competition Gymnasium when the varsity girls and boys teams played the Princeton Panthers. The girls' team also honored their teachers before the game for Teacher Appreciation Night. The boys topped the Panthers, 97-55, while the girls came up short, 58-47.

Boon Elementary students enjoyed an energetic – and healthy – Turkey Trot on November 21 as the Boon Dad’s group and members of the Boon Watch D.O.G.S. joined with members of the Boon PTA to create an obstacle course. Students from all grades participated during the event.
During its annual Alamo Day, Curtis Middle School seventh graders learned about the Battle of the Alamo and the Texas Revolution. Teachers recreated roles of historical Texas figures and related stories about the event as part of the middle school’s Texas History curriculum.

The Allen High School FFA held its annual Holiday Craft Fair at the campus cafeteria on Saturday, Nov. 9. Area vendors sold a variety of holiday-inspired products to support the FFA.

Thursday, Nov. 7, was Senior Night at the Allen-Plano East football game with organizations and fans celebrating the hard work and dedication of the Class of 2025. The Eagles won the game 48-7.

In its fifth year, Eagle Give Day allows AHS Students to participate in more than 30 community service projects. About 3,400 students signed up for projects in 2023 including making peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and mattresses for homeless shelters.
