The Lowery Freshman Center recognized 78 students for Citizenship Awards at a special breakfast hosted by the school’s Parent-Teacher-Student Association (PTSA) on September 26.
The students were nominated by their teachers for outstanding classroom work and decorum. LFC Principal Jill Stafford, along with staff and SROs, honored the students with certificates – and some freebies from local businesses.
The Citizenship Awards are presented to deserving students each trimester during the school year. Congratulations to these outstanding students!

Allen High School's Homecoming weekend was packed with sports action as the Eagles Volleyball team faced Prosper before the Allen-Plano football game. Despite a close 3-1 loss, the Eagles remain tied with Prosper for third in one of the state's toughest districts. Go Eagles!
