Three Allen High School Students Score Perfectly on AP Exams

Three Allen High School students have been recognized by received perfect scores on their AP® Exams in May. They were recently honored at an Allen ISD Board Meeting

The students are Lauren Juric, World History: Modern; Nikitha Kumar, 2-D Art and Design; and Rebekah Wright, Drawing. Lauren was one of only six worldwide with a perfect score. Nikitha was one of 337 students in her category and Rebekah was one of 308 to score perfectly in her category.

“Advanced Placement® Exams are scored on a scale of 1 to 5. Your students received the top score of 5,” said Trevor Packer, the head of the Advanced Placement Program in a letter to AHS Principal Matt Russell. “Furthermore, they were among an elite group of students in the world to earn every point possible on an AP Exam, receiving the maximum score on each portion of the exam. We applaud the educators who encourage students to challenge themselves, who motivate and encourage diverse students to achieve their academic potential.”

Colleges and universities around the world receive AP scores for college credit, advanced placement, and/or consideration in the admission process.
