Allen ISD is seeking feedback from parents and staff as it prepares the 2024-2025 academic calendar. The feedback from this survey will be shared with members of the calendar committee as they prepare a draft of next year's calendar and present it to the Board of Trustees for approval.
During the creation of the calendar, the committee will prioritize the following items:
- Supporting learning and instruction for students
- Meeting requirements set by the Texas Education Agency
- Considering the feedback proposed in this survey
The committee will also look at the calendar as a whole when considering survey responses. Based on the feedback, the committee may prioritize certain calendar elements over others in order to create a suitable calendar for Allen ISD students and staff.
The survey will be open until Friday, Sept. 29, at 8 a.m.
Please note: the 2024-2025 academic calendar has not yet been created. The survey results will help guide the district as it builds the calendar in the coming months.
