Allen Independent School District is committed to reducing energy costs through energy education, awareness, and the use of Energy Management Systems to control building environmental systems. Conserving energy and reducing costs means that more of the district budget goes to education-related activities. Energy costs are the second-largest item after salaries in most school district budgets.
