Withdrawing from Allen ISD

Parents/Guardians, please reach out to your child's campus registrar regarding withdrawing your student from Allen ISD. Withdrawing a student is only necessary when leaving the district and attending a different school district.

When you withdraw from Allen ISD to enroll in another Texas public school district, the receiving school will request your student’s records through a state system called Texas Records Exchange (TREx). It is not necessary to hand carry your student’s records to the new school, TREx will electronically transmit your student’s records to their new campus.

When you withdraw from Allen ISD to enroll in a school outside of Texas or a private school, the new school will usually request records by fax or by phone. Once that request is made, your student’s records will be sent to the receiving school.

Students must turn in all issued textbooks, classroom issued books, library books, technology devices, and return any equipment/uniforms issued from any coaches/directors.

Parents/Guardians - please download any documents (report cards, transcripts, immunization records) from Skyward/Family Access BEFORE withdrawing your student from Allen ISD.

Withdrawing During the School Year

An authorized parent or guardian must be present for withdrawals. Please bring these materials to the withdrawal appointment.

  • Valid ID of authorized Parent or Guardian

  • Student School ID

  • Student Issued Chromebook / Laptop and chargers

  • Textbooks

  • Library materials

  • Uniforms: Athletics, Band, Choir, Orchestra, ROTC, etc.

  • Remaining cafeteria fees

  • Name and address of new school

Withdrawing During the Summer

A withdrawal appointment is not necessary for summer withdrawals.  All documents – unofficial transcripts (9th through 12th grade), report cards, and immunization records -- needed to enroll a student in another district are available in Skyward Family Access for download. Please download these documents before withdrawing from Allen ISD.

You will need to return any school issued devices, textbooks, library materials, and school uniforms to the campus.

Parents/Guardians can email a completed Summer Withdrawal No Show Form to the campus registrar, including a copy of the guardian driver's license. You may also drop off the form directly at the campus with a copy of a guardian driver's license.
