Bleeding Control
Traumatic Injury Response is intended to assist laypersons to become trained, equipped, and empowered to help in a bleeding emergency before professional help arrives. Uncontrolled bleeding is the number one cause of preventable death from trauma.
The American College of Surgeons’ STOP THE BLEED® program equips responders with the skills needed to attempt to control or stop bleeding during a traumatic event.
