WATCH D.O.G.S. Dad

WATCH D.O.G.S.® is a national program that brings positive male role models into schools to support education and school safety. Many Allen ISD elementary campuses participate in the program, welcoming fathers, grandfathers, uncles, and other father figures to volunteer on campus for a day.

Program Goals

  • Promote positive male role models for students, showing that education is important.

  • Enhance school safety by providing an extra set of eyes and ears.

What WatchDOGS Do

WatchDOGS serve in a variety of roles, such as:

  • Greeting students during arrival and dismissal

  • Assisting in the cafeteria and hallways

  • Supporting recess, library, or physical education activities

  • Helping in classrooms with flashcards, reading, or small group activities

Volunteer tasks may differ by campus, depending on campus needs and schedules. Check with your school’s coordinator for specific opportunities.
