Allen Eagle Robotics recently won 1st Place Overall at the UIL BEST Robotics State Championships in Dallas where they competed against 75 other teams from Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma.
In addition to winning State, they also one 1st place in Robotic Performance, the Marketing Presentation Awards, the Exhibit Interview Award, the Exhibit Construction and Design Award, and the Top Gun Award
“I am incredibly proud of these students,” said Graham Gadd, robotics team sponsor. “They have worked hard for three months solid.
Allen Eagle Robotics was also awarded the Simulink Design Award from Mathworks, along with a trophy and $1,000 to their program. To be considered for this award, students submitted a 3-minute video explaining the code they used in the competition.
