Ten Allen ISD campuses have been honored with CREST Awards to recognize their outstanding counseling programs during the 2022-2023 school year. The campuses and their counselors are:

The Texas School Counselor Association began the CREST program in 2005 to honor schools that demonstrate a commitment to improving the lives and achievement of students in academic, career, and personal social endeavors.
CREST is a continuous improvement document that allows a school counseling program to demonstrate effective communication and a commitment to obtaining results. CREST looks at the counseling program in five categories:
- Introduction to the School and the Role of the Professional School Counselor
- Program Implementation Cycle
- Foundational Components
- Four Service Delivery Components
- Program Curriculum
The counseling team prepares a digital submission, and submissions are judged according to pre-set standards of excellence. Congratulations to these outstanding counselors!
