The Allen High School Swim and Dive Team sends two individual swimmers and two teams to the state finals after qualifying at the 2-6A Regional Meet Feb. 7-9.
Katelynn Zhou was named “Swimmer of the Meet” after winning the 100-yard freestyle and 200-yard Individual Medley events. Nathan Jacobbe will also swim at state after coming in second place in the 200-yard Individual Medley.
The girls' 200-yard Medley Relay Team won 2nd place and a spot at the state meet. Team members are: Janelle Zhou, Katelynn Zhou, Phoebe Brookner, and Ella Villano.
The boys' 200-yard Medley Relay Team took second place in qualifying for the state meet. Team members are: Kian Mir Mehrkar, Conner Broderick, Andy Chou, and Nathan Jacobbe.
